Yasmine Aarts (2001)

I am a versatile animation artist with a strong desire to
experiment, illustrate, and design.

I would describe my work as energetic and whimsical.
I let myself get inspired by accidents and uncertainty.
As a filmmaker, I like to focus on emotions or atmospheres
conveyed with diverse mixed media techniques and analog materials.
My films often contain themes of identity and femininity.

I have great interests in (art) direction, animation,
illustration, character design and VJing.
I love being surrounded by other passionate animators and illustrators,
I still have a lot to learn and I am constantly growing!

graduated HKU (University of the Arts Utrecht) with honors in 2025.
